EMI
YASUKAWA
Emi Yasukawa, with over a decade of experience, is a notable leader and advisor in public relations and communication strategy.
She began her career as a consultant in Tokyo and currently resides in Washington, D.C., where she has expanded her expertise to include congressional affairs.
With her primary focus on supporting B2B communications for a sustainable and healthier planet, Emi has advised science and technology-based companies as well as international institutions. She engages in topics encompassing innovative biotechnology, medical science, global health, food science, AI/IoT, and next-gen energy technology.
She received a Master’s in Sociology from Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo and a bachelor’s degree from Keio University, also in Tokyo.

SHARAFA
AREMU
An accredited author and accomplished photographer, Sharafa Aremu grew up in, both, NW DC and Prince George’s County, MD. A graduate of DuVal High School in Lanham, MD, Rafa studied Broadcast/Communications at Bowie State University between 2000-03 before moving into the medical field.
With 15 years of medical experience (ophthalmology and cardiology) under his belt, Rafa maintained his love and passion for various arts, such as photography, music, and literary. Since 2019, Rafa has released four children’s books, all primarily based on inclusivity, self-love, and acceptance. He currently resides in NW Washington D.C.
